We're hiring Ontario Certified Teachers for the Grade 9 term, and building a team for Grades 10 to 12. Each week's lessons and materials are prepared before you teach them: no unpaid lesson planning, no parent admin, and a flat rate per class.

Grade 9 teacher
Hiring now$40–$50 per 45-minute class. Two live classes a week, 45 minutes each, for twelve weeks. Each week's lessons are prepared before you teach them. Parents contact ChronosLearn, not you.
Grades 10–12 math teacher
Building a team$40–$50 per 45-minute class, same as Grade 9. Two live classes a week. Each week's lessons are prepared before you teach them. A class opens once enough families have joined and a teacher is available. Parents contact ChronosLearn, not you.

What happens after you apply

We contact applicants selected for an interview.

Shortlisted applicants: a 2-minute teaching video, then a 20-minute video call.

Requirements and terms
Every class is taught by an Ontario Certified Teacher with a math qualification and a current vulnerable sector check.
- Teachers must hold Ontario College of Teachers membership in good standing, and a math qualification. We check the public register.
- A current vulnerable sector check is required before any contact with students. The form asks whether you already hold one.
- Teaching is an independent contract role, paid per class. Group classes only. No one-to-one contact with students. You won't be placed with any student you teach at school. Classes are on Google Meet. There is no classroom.
